In this video, we at Spidercarts walk you through the final steps of preparing the go-kart frame for painting. After ensuring all your welds are cleaned up, we recommend using a simple method to clean the frame by wiping it down with a mixture of laundry detergent and hot water. This will remove the greasy film left from the welding process.
Once the frame is clean, you have a few options for finishing the look. You can choose to have the go-kart professionally painted or powder-coated, but we prefer a more straightforward approach: applying primer followed by spray paint. For demonstration, we use a prepped and painted frame for the assembly section of the project, showcasing one of our extended Recluse models.
